arrogance can arise
in the presence
of another person
whom
we distrust.

take on the burden
of someone‘s expectations
while that someone
is proactively making an effort
to not expect.
May we become aware
that doing so
can be to disrespect
that person‘s efforts
because of our own inability
to trust the sustainability
of that person‘s
